Hey guys, since I’m not attending the Dream Cruise, I am issuing a challenge.
Find a 1968 Montego.
If one will appear anywhere in Michigan that I don’t own, that’s where it would be. I suspect you will NOT find one though.

This would be hard for me, since i have troible distinguishing most classic muscle. But honestly, it’d probably be a challenge to find another Montego ANYWHERE. It’s kind of like challenging you to find another non-turbo Porsche 924. There just aren’t many left.

That’s why it’s a CHALLENGE.
To be fair if there’s another, it will probably be the same color scheme as mine, it’s the most common look.

I’m going down to Woodward tomorrow... all the way from Canada eh.
I’ve got access to a bar on the strip with free food and drinks, courtesy of a friend of a friend.

Woodward can be tough on older cars’ cooling systems. I’ve seen quite a few guys pull off the road with steam coming from the hood. I once went with a friend who was driving a crappy old Delta 88, and sitting in the cruise resulted in a radiator hose blowing and having to push his car off Woodward. Fortunately, there were a bunch of spectators that were willing to lend a hand!

Been a battle ever since. If the radiator didn’t fix it, I’m in big trouble. I’m out of cooling system parts to replace...
